Death Crossed the Street

Death Crossed the Street – Albumcover

On 26 September 2025, Death Crossed the Street came out – the first full-length studio album by Reverend Beat-Man & Milan Slick, on Voodoo Rhythm Records.

Two generations collide: Reverend Beat-Man, one-man band and king of blues trash, and Milan Slick, “the darkest soul of Bern”. The two met in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, while writing a soundtrack for Ana Lily Amirpour’s vampire film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

The album was recorded from 4 to 6 March 2025 at U3 Studios in Bern, the former “Züri West” studio, with Sebastian Zwahlen and Robert Butler (Miracle Workers). Mixed and mastered by Matteo Bordin at Outside Inside Studios in Montebelluna, Italy. Milan Slick plays vocals, guitars, keys and drums, Reverend Beat-Man vocals, guitar and drums. Salma Flügel plays cello.
